Great news for Castle/Kingdoms fans, here is the new exclusive set. Now i was wondering whether to buy 2 sets to create the above scene.

One of the fans posted "it would make a great entrance to the Lion Knight Kingdom. Also, the Falcon Knight seems to suggest that Kingdoms will continue with a new faction." "The color certainly matches the MMV."

Lego Castle & Kingdoms

Castle Fantasy King & his Knights (the grey & golden knight)
2007-09

the new sword for the knight

the current kingdoms knights (superb design on the barding, shield, horse headgear), but too light weight.

Comparing with the early 90s horse barding, we prefer the earlier ones, in terms of quality. The quality has drop over the years (material wise)

Will lego Kingdoms cost more in the next few years (price increase) as compared with the earlier Fantasy Castle (2007-09)?

If we look in terms of designs, no doubt the current Kingdoms version (2010 & 2011) are nicer, having detailed design with prints on the body torso (both front & back), printed legs, horse headgear with horn and horse barding.

As a castle fan, the current plastic feel is just different, comparing with the 90s. Nicer design & print (increase in printing cost, since printed on both sided for the torso), but the weight is less, and it gives an impression of cheap mass produced plastic.

Don't think the price for the current Kingdoms sets (minifigures) will increase that much as compared with Castle theme (skeleton, dwarves & fantasy knights and the sets). As a castle fan, most of us have no intention of building a big kingdoms army.

Whether there will be a price increase on these Kingdoms in the near future, depends on the demand from collectors, with so many different themes coming up this year and probably next year. Buyers will have some budget on what to spend to stretch this hobby in the long run.

the new farm animals in this box, i wonder why lego can't be more generous with the chicken, pig and goat? they should include more of these animals for fans.
Each chicken was for sale at USD3.99 (market price)!!

the sunflower

For 7189 Mill Village Raid, contains 663 pieces. Retail price at S$149.90.

this will be a lego building weekend, my brother (modular collector) got his cafe corner this week, we will see if it is possible to complete it over the weekend. I will update more on both the windmill & cafe corner.

Lego Build Death METAL Music Video

Having a 10 days long break from blog post, by the way i'm still around.

Few days ago, while in a dream state lying on bed, i thought about lego. Some kind of realization, Lego was suppose to be fun & special, not buying expensive sets, following instructions & building, more time should be spend on MOC, this is what i intend to do that from now on.

At the meantime check the following lego clips:

Lego Kingdoms Castle MOC

Here is one of the reason why you need to have more than 1 kingdoms sets, not only for army building but also for more fun! If I didn't pass the extra Kingdoms 7946 set to my nephew, this is how it will look. (using 2 sets)

Fixed Prison Tower 7947 last Christmas and it is one of my favourite set. Here is an idea how an extension of prison tower MOC will look, check out the rooms!

This is how we should play with our lego, assemble them and leave it there on the table. How i wish to have more space for display.
