Lego Minifigures Series 11 Preview Pictures
Here are the Lego Minifigures Series 11. What do you guys think..looks like i am going to collect this set! There are many nice figures, the London policeman, the Scarecrow, female robot (a partner for the earlier robot), gingerbread man. Looking forward for this set.
At the moment, i had no idea how the breakdown is going to be like. I believe that might be only 2 figures from the box of 60 again. Do visit the blog again for more updates.

LOTR Uruk-Hai Army
Here are some pictures on the uruk-hai army, by the way they are not mine.
saber-scorpion shared a picture of his army, made up of 2 x 9471 Uruk-Hai Army and 9474 Battle of Helm's Deep, but i think the other 2 figures are from the 9474 Orc Forge. You can use this picture as a desktop background.
How many figures are there?

Minifigures Series 6 Pictures
my 8 series 6 minifigures...got them from "touch & feel" only 1 minotaur (pure luck)
Currently i have a total of 10 Series 6 minifigures, the other 2 extras are the roman guard & bandit.
the four MUST HAVE figures for most of us...
evolution... of the cows
one of the favourite, a gang of bandits?
Prefer an injection from Series 1 nurse or from the surgeon?
possible to build a highlanders army? braveheart??
the most wonderful figure ever..
it will better to own a pair of roman guards, however i think the shields are too small..
the spear is from the earlier series Indian chief, head is from 2008 kingdoms

AFA Graded Lego?
Some serious toy collector likes to send some of the rare or nice item and get it graded by AFA. Others prefer to buy AFA items. I have seen lots of vintage star wars moc graded by AFA, plus all sort of action figures (mint on cards) and boxed toys. But for lego, this is the first time i came across them, currently on ebay.
The problem with AFA graded items is that in humid countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, the item might get moldy, at the end of the day there might be the need to crack open the case to protect the toy from further damage. The toy is always more precious than the case or grading itself. For me i don't go for AFA or display my collectable toys, but carefully stored them inside cupboards & dark places (not expose to sunlight).
It is expensive to posted to AFA, after grading they will send it back, the postage incurred plus service charges are costly. On display, owners will tell others they own an AFA graded item (usually cost USD 100 or more to get it graded). Kind of silly to me (you don't need someone to tell you that you own a mint item), you can save money to expand your collection or just buy a protective plastic case to protect it.
Personally, I don't think lego fans are into AFA stuff.
* NM means near mint.
there are 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, the best is probably 90 (almost direct from factory with minimum handling)

Lego Star Wars Ewoks Attack (2011)
Lego 7956 Star Wars Ewoks Attack (total 166 pieces)USD24.99 (suggested retail price in US)
With 3 minifigures, Biker Scout, Logray (medicine man), Tokkat
Logray looks good!

Before I became a lego fan, I was a vintage star wars fan, ewoks was one of my focus area. I spend around 5 years buying up vintage star wars stuff. At the moment, I don't own a single lego ewok minifigure. This new set has 2 nice figures which i'm considering (might just buy the loose figures)
On this blog, I would like to share my vintage star wars ewoks moc (mint on cards), picture taken about 1.5 yrs ago. I'm short of the final 2 carded figures teebo (with coin) and wicket (with coin), i have no intention of buying them as it will cost more than USD 1,000 (furthermore they are not available in the market most of the time, simply too tedious to find one).
I enjoyed collecting all vintage ewoks related stuff (playsets & others), but stopped buying them about 2 years ago. By the way, i have yet to find out how many different lego ewoks minifigures are there *, knowing there are wicket, chief chirpa. The question is whether i'm going into building a lego ewoks army? Liked what i did for the vintage star wars ewoks and other figures, it is something i don't wish to start :)
* friend had updated me on the number of different lego ewoks. thanks!
