Lego Star Wars 9676 TIE Interceptor & Death Star Review

Singapore retail price S$20.90. Released in 2012. I got this set 2 weeks ago, during a local sales, i think most lego star wars fans will buy this set, just for the minifigure and the TIE fighter.

Number of pieces: 65. Comes with 1 minifigure

On 6 Jun post, i mentioned about giving a review on this set. Spend 2 evenings fixing the set (just taking my time). It consist of 789 pieces.

This set was first released in August 2009

Voted for by fans to celebrate the 10th anniversary of LEGO® Star Wars, the famous Rebel flagship features a command center and briefing room with Death Star “hologram,” a launch and repair hangar, a Green Squadron A-wing starfighter with removable engine and firing flick-missiles, and the first-ever LEGO minifigures of Admiral Ackbar, Rebel leader Mon Mothma, General Lando Calrissian, General Madine, a Mon Calamari officer and a Green Squadron A-wing pilot. Move the levers and gears to prepare the A-wing for takeoff or to rotate Admiral Ackbar’s command chair!

Lego Stuff Update for the week

Lego Golden Brick Keychain 50th Anniversary, for S$5.90. It is hard to get them at retail (even at lego stores), there is only 1 avaliable when i came across it at a small local store.

7754 Home One Mon Calamari Star Cruiser

Finally purchase this set last week, this is one of the lego set on my wanted list, bought it at a discount price. A review on the set will be made shortly. I will be using the minifigures from 8083 Rebel Trooper Battle Pack and 2 loose admiral ackbar in the photos.

Powered radio-controlled Functions:
- driving: forward reverse
- stearing
- main ramp: up and down
- crane: up and down, in and out
- conveyer band: forward and reverse

Other features:
fully interior on three floors in the front half of the model and a detailed cockpit (removable roof) second crane in the back of the workshop, lighted smelter.

Building and planning time: 9 months

Comparing the moc sandcrawler with the Lego 10144 Sandcrawler, the later looks awful.

Lego Star Wars 66364 3 in 1 Super Pack

Lego Star Wars 66364 is avaliable in Singapore today, as i'm making this post, i believed all had been sold out.

The super pack consist of 7749 Echo Base, 8083 Rebel Trooper Battle Pack and 8084 Snowtrooper Battle Pack. Lego created super packs in order to sell them in bulk (reducing the large stock), we had already seen 8083 & 8084 on discount in retail store late last year.
