A red envelope or red packet (known as hóngbāo in Mandarin, Ang Pao in Min Nan). Red envelopes are mainly presented at social and family gatherings such as weddings or on holidays such as the Lunar New Year. The red color of the envelope symbolizes good luck and is supposed to ward off evil spirits. Behind the minifigures is a red packet i received earlier today.

The white chrome helmet is the most expensive piece, together with the white plumes. White horse headdress are rare and hard to find.

Classic knights having the dark grey sword, comparing it with today's Kingdoms set, the older vintage sword was made of hard plastic (it cost more in price now)

Lego System Castle Commercial Classic 80s & 90s

The classic TV commercial on Lego Castles from 1992 on wolfpack, knights, dragons, and special feature of the glow in the dark ghost figure. Will do a review on this ghost figure, it don't come cheap now.

I'm quite impressed by the high quality images produced almost 20 years ago.

This should the one of the earliest commercial on lego castle from the early 80s! There are a few others on youtube, readers can check them.

The Dragon Slayer Knight

Received this purchase today. Picked up 3 loose figures from UK a week ago, at a very good price (sometimes there are something you cannot miss). Well, this got to be one of the coolest knight helmet and shield (the first time to own one). For the body torso, it shows a dragon (more like a lizard), have no idea where which particular set has this body torso.

Brick Fan Castle July 2010, Japan (MisaQa)

The Japanese lego builders had been very humble indeed, this is not amateur work... from MisaQa:

"July 2010, we Japanese amateur builders made an original fantasy world at LEGO STADIUM, Nasu Japan."

So we have a group of Japanese spending weeks to build this. How much lego are being used here? The initial planning, design, the building and man-hours involved...
