Lego Minifigures Series 5, Collect 'em ALL! (Breakdown Info)

thanks to a friend, i got the 16 minifigures!

this is one of the best series, many are instant favourite

will post more series 5 minifigures pictures in the next post

The breakdown for a box of 60 figures

• Ancient Egyptian Woman 3

• Boxer 5

• Cavewoman 4

• Fitness Dancer 4

• Detective 4

• Dinosaur Suit Man 5

• Dwarf 3

• Eskimo 3

• Gangster 3

• Grenadier Guard 5

• Lumberjack 3

• Male Snowboarder 3
• Murmillo 3

• Small Clown 4

• University Graduate 3

• Zookeeper 5

This time round, the minifigures breakdown is quite good in my opinion. There are at less 3 sets per box. Unlike the earlier series where we only got 2 elf and 2 spartan in a box of 60 minifigures. There are 5 grenadier guard & dinosaur suit man (which are popular figures) from the box (most likely other boxes will be having the same breakdown). Lego should continue give a good breakdown like series 5. We are aware of the earlier frustration of being unable to get the spartan and elf from retail (but i think i managed to do so when there was a new box)

Hope you guys got the minifigures you want. Post your comments below.

Lego Figures Minifigures Series 6, as the forum post state.

From the Taiwan Lego forum, they mentioned this is a leak from the lego factory in China, showing 10 of the 16 figures. In one of the forum post (i had read all the posts), someone mentioned the figures are currently for sale on China auction site Taobao.

Looking at the quality, they are indeed Lego product and a few of these figures here could be on the list of Series 6. (Statue of Liberty & Grey Alien)

THESE MIGHT NOT BE THE CONFIRMED SERIES 6 MINIFIGURES.

Mechanic

Skater (female)

Highlander

Minotaur

Fun with Minifigures Series 4 (Part 2)

where viking got his horns

Viking on a village raid

battle harden viking would have prefered a longer stick for his axe

Way before the invention of cameras, the artist is the most popular guy in town. Every ladies' dream to have a portrait like Mona Lisa.

this minifigure reminds me of the Argentina player Gabriel Batistuta, soccer player is one of the favourite now, together with rocker.

another rubber hair

Lego rapper, pop star and punk rocker from the music industry

Sports champion, judo, soccer player and sumo wrestler, now you know why sumo is having the grumpy face. Gold, Silver Brozne.
(for minifigures 1 & 2, lego used to give 2 accessories in each pack)

Here is the second part of phototaking session, soccer player, viking, artist and rock star.

Part 3 next for the remaining series 4 figures.

Singapore Budget 2011 in Lego

Yesterday 18 Feb was Singapore Budget day, today Straits Times posted a clip on our Budget 2011 in lego. I will not discuss about the budget, but rather on the lego clip itself.

The kid in the clip is missing the leg (well guess the producers do not have the dwarf short leg). The bricks are kind of old & dusty, they can probably clean it first before using it. Clearly a lack of bricks.

Lego Minifigures Series 5 Update pictures

May 2011 Update: Lego Minifigures Series 5 Pictures
Series 5 Minifigures

New Updated Pictures on 26 Mar 2011
Series 5 Minifigures

Straight after collecting my minifigures series 3 last week, the lego minifigures series 5 pictures was leaked one day ago. Having viewed the pictures, i have decided not to post them or provide any links, so as not to receive another warning from Lego. The pictures are confidential.

There are a total of 9 figures in Series 5, lego seems to reduce them. The cavewoman had a bone on her hair (finally a partner for Series 1 caveman!), the boxer was in red, clown was having short legs, Gladiator new helmet is very nice, Irish Royal guard reminds me of the London guards (another army building), clepatra has a new hair mould. The man in dinosaur suit is fun (face shown this time, in GODZILLA suit), like another man in gorilla suit, you need this 2 figures.

* Adventurer (more like shelock holmes)
* Boxer
* Cavewoman
* Cleopatra
* Clown with Pie
* Dinosaur Suit Guy (GODZILLA)
* Dwarf
* Gladiator
* Irish Royal Guard (London Royal Guards)

rumour Series 5 coming out in Aug 2011, in purple bags.

UPDATE:

• Ancient Egyptian Woman
• Boxer
• Cavewoman
• Fitness Dancer
• Detective
• Dinosaur Suit Man
• Dwarf
• Eskimo
• Gangster
• Grenadier Guard
• Lumberjack
• Male Snowboarder
• Murmillo
• Small Clown
• University Graduate
• Zookeeper

It's going to be 2 series each year, we will be seeing Series 3 & Series 4 in Singapore. Next will be series 5 and 6.

Lego Minifigures Series 3 LegoAsia Review

here are the series 3 minifigures. Rapper is one of the coolest guy, a minifigure head on his cap.

Elf is my favourite. Using the spartan helmet from S2 looks good too

Caveman with spear

The Native Indians now & then. I still prefer the classical ones (a serious face). The current Indian Chief is too young and looks more like a kid (maybe this indian chief works in the circus)

The Ninja (S1) and The Samurai. I am sure there are people building an army on these Japanese warriors.

The 16 figures. As usual the breakdown is really bad, with only 2 figures each for the fisherman and snowboarder in a box.

Check the flower on the hula girl's hair. Following cheerleaders, AFFOL might go into collecting a team of hula girls.

The 3 Girls in Series 3

Here are the minifigures breakdown from my box (in Singapore). I have information that the subsequent S3 release will have at least 3 sets per box, there might be 4 fishermen.

Pilot 5
Race Car Driver 5
The Mummy 5
Sumo Wrestler 5
Alien 5
Tennis Player 4
Baseball Player 4
Samurai 4
Gorilla 4
Space Pirate (Cyborg) 3
Elf 3
Rapper 3
Hula Girl 3
Indian Chief 3
The Fisherman 2
Snowboarder 2

Now the production line produced the same quantity of figures, and I still don't understand why the have only 2 figures in a box of 60! That is equivalent to a 3% chance of buying the elf and fisherman. Anyway, I know the staff at lego store Singapore removed these figures before putting them on sale. So there is no chance of buying them at all. To make it simple lego can just sell the 16 figures in a pack, so we get to collect them all.

Won't be buying a box for Series 4, too much to collect. Lego will be releasing S5, S6 and S7, about 2 series per year.

There was a post on Series 4 pictures on my blog. Readers can check them. S4 will be avaliable in Singapore this April.

Lego Mini Figures Series 4 Preview

Lego Mini Figures Series 4

Here is an update on the of Lego Mini Figures Series 4, set 8804. The excitement of lego minifigures release kind of dying down now.

In this new series the figures include viking, another skater, female surfer, scientist, sailor, frankenstein, rocker, fisherman, painter, Japanese lady and others.

Lego Series 3 Minifigures Code

The code is found at the bottom of the pack.

Courtesy of FBTB members,Rick Theroux.

With the release of S3 in USA, this will be useful for those who are searching for that particular figure, by looking at the package code. Otherwise, just touch & feel on the pack itself.

These codes are accurate for North America, but don't know if a different system is used for Europe and the rest of the world. If you have any news or information, drop me a message.
