Lego 9471 Lord of the Ring Uruk-Hai Army Review

Here are some pictures of the  9471 Uruk-hai Army set, there will be more pictures when i open other sets. The 2 Rohan archers are extra figures purchased earlier.

However by pulling the horse legs back to the max, it is able to stand on its own. This is really awesome (picture below)

Lego Lord of the Rings Promotion Posters 2012

Received a copy of the lord of the rings promotion posters, well they are amazing! In my opinion, the one showing the fellowship battle is one of the best designed poster. I would love to frame it and hang on the wall.

How many figures are there?

saber-scorpion shared a picture of his army, made up of 2 x 9471 Uruk-Hai Army and 9474 Battle of Helm's Deep, but i think the other 2 figures are from the 9474 Orc Forge. You can use this picture as a desktop background.

Lego Lord of the Rings 9469 Gandalf Arrives Review

 Here is a review of the new Lord of the Rings set 9469 - Gandalf Arrives. The Singapore retail price is at S$29.90. Received this set a few weeks ago.

The new horse is the most anticipated piece, here are some pictures of this superb horse

the size is about the same as the old one, i presume lego is going to replace the old horse with the new one in all future lego sets that comes with horses.

Update for the Month of July

Dear readers, i had been very busy for the last few weeks, i realized that i didn't make a post for almost 2 weeks (working to buy more lego). Thank you for your support, each day there are more than 500 unique visitors to this blog, and i received blog comments & emails from readers by which i'm trying my best to reply. Lego Lord of the Rings 9474 The Battle of Helm's Deep LEGO Review

US retail price is USD130. In Singapore it cost S$279.90.

Initially i intended to buy 2 boxes of Uruk hai army together with the Helm's Deep set, just don't feel like spending that much. At the moment we can just admire her LOTR sets.

My wanted list at the moment is uruk hai army and gandalf arrives.

Updated the post, i have provided the retail price in Singapore. To collect one full set will cost  S$820.30. At this moment, i'm not sure what will be the response from local lego fans (who intended to buy LOTR). With 20% discount the whole set will cost S$656.24.  Do you guys find collecting them as challenging (to the wallet) as compared with the SuperHeroes sets?

Lego Lord of the Rings are now on sale in US

The LOTR lego sets are now available for sales in the US market.

Last month I received the local retail price for each set, it is pretty expensive. At the moment the only set i would like add is Gandalf Arrives.

Lego Thundercats (well maybe)

As an adult over 30 years old, how awesome it will be if we have Lego Thundercats, imagine the characters, vehicles and playsets. Afterall we have Lego from Indiana Jones movies, Batman comics, Star Wars universe, Harry Potter, Disney Toy Story & Prince of Persia. It's just endless possibilities!
