Lego Update April

Recently i had been very busy with work & had less time bloggging on lego. However i'm still constantly keeping update on all lego stuff, at the same time adding a few lego sets to my own collection. 1-2 weeks ago i had purchased 3 lego sets at discounted prices.

A week ago, i came across the lego book THE CULT OF LEGO at the library, pretty lucky, i don't have to spend about $100 getting this book from retail.

Came across a new lego book in the bookstore in town. The Cult of Lego around 290 pages. Full colour pages with lots of pictures on AFOLs creation. Readers can take a look at the book, it will be great if you guys can support the legoasia, by clicking the amazon ads on the blog and check it up.

100,000 pieces of bricks, estimate USD10,000 and 7 months of work. Greatly impressed by the pure talent, hardwork, determination, endurance, patience and well deep pockets.

From my copy... it was mentioned in Star Wars The Visual Dictionary, the recreation by Mark Borlase took 4 years to build.
