Moving House

Dear readers, i had been busy and in the process of moving house. I'm going overseas tomorrow morning and will be back in a week. I didn't follow up with lego for quite sometime. I am just taking a break and moving away from lego. At the moment, there are some problem with this lego blog, the visitors visit had dropped to less than 50 per day, will rectify it shortly (google had blocked my blog in the search engine).

Last week, i made 2 trips with the car full of lego. Sets included, the modulars, city, grand carousel, kingdoms, castle, death star and others.

Lego Update April

Recently i had been very busy with work & had less time bloggging on lego. However i'm still constantly keeping update on all lego stuff, at the same time adding a few lego sets to my own collection. 1-2 weeks ago i had purchased 3 lego sets at discounted prices.

A week ago, i came across the lego book THE CULT OF LEGO at the library, pretty lucky, i don't have to spend about $100 getting this book from retail.

Lego City 3-in-1 & 4-in-1 Super Pack

Got 3 boxes of new lego 3-in-1 & 4-in-1 City Super Pack today, consists of a total of 10 sets. With the set 7634 Tractor and 7241 Fire Car appearing twice. Readers might like to check on the earlier post on the hospital lego super pack & others. Lego 4-in-1 Super Pack Hospital

My younger brother collects modular, so these city vehicles can be added to his little town, some savings when we purchased these super pack rather than the individual box.

Lego Fabuland Collection (Part 2)

4 sets on review are 3603 Boris Bulldog with mailbox, 3706 Elmer Elephant, 3633 Walter Warlus with Motor Boat and 3708 Rufus Rabbit.

Lego Fabuland

Was packing my toys cupboard last night, and "dig up" a pack of Lego Fabuland from my childhood (my mom bought them during an overseas trip to Switzerland, price shown are in Swiss Franc). I won't say they are my childhood toys, cause i didn't really play with them. I realised there isn't much pictures on lego Fabuland (when i did a google search, it's less than 2 pages). So here are some of the sets i have.

The funny thing about lego is that adults are excited by these kids toys, similiar with Lego Minifigures and other sets (we don't really care about the stated ages for 5-12 or 7-14 years old). It's adults who are buying and collecting them. Fabuland was first introduced in 1979, to fill the gap between Dulop and the standard lego product ranges. Aim at both boys & girls. Currently there are a group of Fabuland lovers from US & UK.

Fabuland toys are free gifts from Nespray (free toy for every tin of Nespray back in the 80s)

I remember having the set 3719 Bus Stop with Maximilian Mouse, another misplaced set. Priced at DKK650 in Denmark (just 1 set) SGD155!! Now i need to find my set..LOL
