Fun with Market Street

A few days ago (during chinese new year holiday), i was trying to create a market scene for the market street modular (not satisfied with the original crates of fruits & vegetables), now this little corner was busier with more variety of goods for sales. From fresh fruits & vegetables to mugs, pots, pans, brooms and mops. Plus adding 2 minifigures.

Sorry for the poor photos without focus, i'm unable to take close up with my D7000. Will try to update more pictures later.

the fishmonger was standing outside because of the fishy smell

welcome to post any comments below. Have a great weekend!

Lego Mini Modulars Building 10230

New microscale version of the modular building series

LEGO has just announced an intriguing new set that brings together nearly all of the modular building series, going all the way back to the classic 10182 Cafe Corner — 10230 Mini Modulars. The set will be released in January 2012, and will only be available to LEGO VIP Program members.

10230 Mini Modulars , Ages 12+. 1,356 pieces.

US $79.99 CA $99.99 DE 69.99 € UK 59.99 £ DK 649.00 DKK AU $119.99

Fans are all very excited about this new set, i'm not sure if we can purchase them in local retail store. I'm pretty sure every modular fan will be interested in getting this set. Will they release a mini pet shop later?

Lego MOC market street & others

The current market street is too expensive, we can always MOC a market street, making use of the cow & pig, and to build a nice traffic light post. It reminds me of seeing something similar, Victoria building style in Perth. That is why he named it Vic Market Street.

Elf Stronghold. The minifig elf deserved a base

Robin Hood hideout

The Clash of the Heavyweights. Using minifigures sumo, wrestler and judo.

It is always interesting to check out some of the moc by fans, well qi_tah created a few MOCs that i liked (my favour topics).

Spanish Modular (green grocer) Street

Following the popular Modular Spanish Cafe (check my earlier post), there is another Spanish Green Grocer (market street). The store front sells different products, the side gate is similiar to the market street.

With the earlier spanish cafe corner, together it creates a unqiue Spanish street

The instruction sets for the Spanish Green Grocer is avaliable at USD 14.95.

Please note that the blog is not giving out this free lego instruction, but i can tell you where to get it. thank you!
