Lego Minifigures Series 10 Review

Roman general & foot soldier.. tracking down medusa.

Medusa is a highly sought after figure. She should have come with a bow, i should include a quiver too! Awesome!

It is getting more expensive to collect these minifigures... for a box of 60 figures, there are only 2 for each for the above 6. Only able to produce 2 complete set. No wonder it is almost impossible to buy the figures from lego retail outlet.

Purchased around 9 figures from retail this time, as it is no longer worth the effort. It is recommended to buy online where it is cheaper.

Lego Minifigures Series 8 Pictures Update

Soon after getting hold of the MF S7 set just a few weeks ago, we are going to see another release this September (in 2 months time). In my opinion, that was really fast, with the continuous release of new figures (about 3 series in a year), the excitement kind of reduces.. what do you think?

Looking at the new figures, there isn't anything really attractive. What caught my attention is the Alien figure.

Of the 5 female characters in this series, these 2 ladies are my favourite. The female viking's headdress is a unique piece.

Lego Minifigures Series 6 HUNT

From Toys "R" Us

Price: SGD 4.90 each
purchased a total of 21 packs, some of them are for my sis & a friend

Didn't intend to collect the full set this time round, at $4.90 each. It will cost around $80 for the full 16 figures, about 20% price increase from the usual $3.90. Series 5 was at S$4.50 each.

I requested for another box of minifigures from the staff, after the box in the store was kind of raid of the nice figures, there are 3 buyers before me, they had selected most of the "hot" figures away. The 1st guy got around 10 plus figures, the second guy around 15 figures, there was a girl buying a few. And i'm probably the 4th person inside the store to select from this box, after lunch time.

There are no codes on the pack, to get the figures you want, just touch & feel.

ROMAN SOLDIER, HIGHLAND BATTLER, MINOTAUR, BANDIT, CLASSIC ALIEN, GENIE, LEPRECHAUN, INTERGALACTIC GIRL, BUTCHER, MECHANIC, SKATER GIRL, SURGEON, SLEEPYHEAD, CLOCKWORK ROBOT, LADY LIBERTY and FLAMENCO DANCER.

The figures in red are the must have figures for me this time round... in blue are the "still alright" figures to collect. For the remaining... not too keen.

Display Case for Lego Minifigures

Bought the plastic display case from Daiso (the Japanese store) at SGD2. Made in Japan the dimension is approx. 19.8cm (L), 5.8Cm (W) and 6.8cm (H). This display case is nice & cheap.

853340 Lego Wedding Bride Groom Minifigures with Table Decoration Review

Update: Received a call today 30th Sept, the lego wedding set is now temporary removed from the Singapore market by lego. Reason: there are some defects in this set. I had opened this set and i wonder what's the problem.

A review of the Lego Wedding Set, 853340. Total of 24 pieces. It was available in Singapore for a short 2 days in a shop, and was sold out. I presume this set will be widely avaliable in store shortly.

Was checking the price on US ebay, this morning a set was sold for USD31 (exclude postage). The average price was around USD25-28. So there are buyers who are willing to pay around USD30 (excluding shipping fees)!

lego using 3M now. i guess this is the first set to incorporate 3M.

the body torso for the groom is similiar to that of the minifigure series 1 magician

Overall this set will probably appeal to female fans. Who knows, these figures might just appear on the wedding cake of an AFOL couple soon, i'm sure there will be pictures of them on the net.

Lego Gangster

Bought another gangster, the gladiator's head looks better on the figure. The gangster has a new weapon, the tommy gun.

Lego Minifigures Collectible Series 6 update

I had viewed the confidential pictures of the mf series 6. In the earlier post, there are 10 pictures. Here are the remaining 6 figures in blue (not posting any pictures as it is not right to do so at the moment). The series will be released in 2012.

Lego Minifigures Series 5, Collect 'em ALL! (Breakdown Info)

This time round, the minifigures breakdown is quite good in my opinion. There are at less 3 sets per box. Unlike the earlier series where we only got 2 elf and 2 spartan in a box of 60 minifigures. There are 5 grenadier guard & dinosaur suit man (which are popular figures) from the box (most likely other boxes will be having the same breakdown). Lego should continue give a good breakdown like series 5. We are aware of the earlier frustration of being unable to get the spartan and elf from retail (but i think i managed to do so when there was a new box)

Lego Minifigures Series 5 (More pictures)

Here are some of the minifigures series 5 in new posture, 7 new pictures. The minifigures will be on sale shortly in Singapore. The retail price is increased from S$3.90 to S$4.50.

I would not want to comment much on the price increase. Even with the price increase, the figures i would like to collect are cave women, boxer, detective, gladiator, royal guard, gangster, small clown, lizard man and zoo keeper (for the monkey).

received the minifigures & lego parts yesterday, this seller sealed all the parts and figures in bags, looks mint to me

Do you display the minifigures on a lego plate or keep them in zip bags? I have both, to save space, the best way is to have them in zip bags.
