Lego Update March

Here's an update on the my recent lego addition and a quick look at the local lego store (Mar 13 Sunday). Last Friday, 6 star wars minifigures purchased on ebay arrived they are added to my current minifigs population, with the first ewok wicket and extra Admiral Ackbar.

Current Lego City police display at the store. Move the magnifying glass and identify the criminal. The display was kind of low (height) they are just for kids.

Pharaoh's Quest new release display, the pyramid, taking a close look, the vehicle with the attached machine gun was kind of crappy in terms of design. I'm sure they can do better than this.

Was in town last night for dinner, after dinner walked to the nearby departmental store Robinson and checked out the new lego prices. On sales are City Police, Star wars and the creator sets.

Not getting anything at the moment, but will probably buy the ninja training outpost later.

Lego Police Car

Well it had been a few days since my last post, currently I had put aside Lego for a while and concentrate/plan for my coming marathon (in less than 10 days). You can check my hedgehog blog for more updates.

Came across this classic police car and think it will be great to share here. It reminds me of a 70s police car, if I'm free to source for lego parts, I will certainly follow him and build one for myself!

Lego New Police sets for 2011

The Police Station 7498 (USD 99.99)

The new Lego Police Station for 2011, are now avaliable in US TOYRUS.

Police Truck 7288 (USD 44.99)

7279 Police Minifigure Collection (USD 9.99)

The new dog with a printed face, new bagpack use to store stuff and a red crow bar.

City collectors can consider on these new sets, I don't find them appealing but since lego produces it every year, there must be a fan base for Lego Police and Fire Station. Hope they can come up with new hospital sets.
