OASIS Playing Lego with Kinect style camera and interactive projector system

OASIS Object Aware Situated Interactive Systems & Lego, from Intel Labs Seattle.

This will change the way we play in the near future. Kids no longer need to create sound effects while playing and what we visualize during play will simply appear in front of us (pre-programmed).

OASIS is a flexible software architecture that enables us to prototype applications that use depth cameras and underlying computer vision algorithms to recognize and track objects and gestures, combined with interactive projection. Here we show OASIS in an interactive Lego playing scenario.
