Lego 30201 Monster Fighters GHOST and Haunted House

Take a look at the Monster Fighters Polybag 30201 Ghost. This pack can be an add-on for the haunted house, the grandfather clock can just be placed inside the building.

The 3 NEW GHOSTS

Maybe i will snap more pictures of the haunted house later...

Placed the grandfather clock at the entrance, found this is the only available space.

 the minifigures from haunted house

zombie chef with a chopper (which i think should be included in the set) with series 1 zombie

Dracula from the haunted house had the evil look (which i prefered) as compared to the earlier minifigure version, similiar to Frankenstein

House warming, with the guests arriving... i missed out the witch and series 8 Vampire bat

Witch hopes to get a house-cleaning job in the haunted house... so she arrives with the broom

Lego 8684 MiniFigures Series 2 Breakdown per box

Spartan Warrior, Pharaoh and Vampire are my favourite.

Having checked one box of mini figures and with reference from another collector, I presume this is more or less the standard figure breakdown for most of the original box of 60. For each box, there will be 3 complete sets of 16 mini figures, the remaining figures will be in 4 or 5 each.

My box:
Disco Dude (DJs) x 3
Explorer x 3
Karate Master x 4
Lifeguard x 4
Maraca Man (Mexican) x 4
Mime x 4
Traffic Cop x 5
Pop Star
x 4
Pharaoh x 3
Ringmaster x 5
Skier x 3
Spartan Warrior x 3
Surfer x 3
Vampire x 4
Weightlifter x 4
Witch x 4

Now we will know which will be the expensive ones... the spartan warrior, pharaoh, disco dude, explorer. Currently the hottest figure will be the spartan warrior.

This is the list from another collector
4 Mexicans
3 Spartans
5 Ringmasters
4 Witches
4 Vampires
5 Traffic Cops
3 Jungle Explorers
4 Lifeguards
4 Mime Artists
4 Weightlifters
3 Pop Stars
3 Skiers
3 DJs
5 Karate Masters
3 Surfers
3 Pharaohs

The not so popular ones, are mainly mime, traffic cop, ringmaster and maybe weightlifter.

We might have some surprise with the girls! As minifigures female figures are usually quite popular, example the cheerleader in series 1 is now the most expensive figure, the nurse is also in certain demand. For series 2, who knows the pop star and lifeguard will be pretty attractive too.

In a box of 60, the ringmaster, traffic cop and karate master will have 15 out of 60. That will be 25% of getting these figures from a retail box. Here is a simple probability of getting the figures, presume a new box opened just for you.

Highest probability
1) Ringmasters
2) Traffic Cops
3) Karate Masters
Total range: 25%
Each: 8.33%

Medium probability
1) Mexicans
2) Witches
3) Vampires
4) Lifeguards
5) Mime Artists
6) Weightlifters
Total range: 40%
Each: 6.67%

Low probability
1) Spartans
2) Jungle Explorers
3) Pop Stars
4) Skiers
5) DJs
6) Surfers
7) Pharaohs
Total range: 35%
Each
5%

If buyer were to purchase the packet in Toy r us, or other shops, I guess it will be unlikely they will be able to collect the figures with x 3 in a box, unless it is a new box, and you are the first customer.. especially the spartan warrior, this will be the most sought after figure.

From Lego Site, check out the figures characters!

Ghost Month 鬼月

The Chinese vampire... by tigerggyy

Hungry Ghost Festival is a traditional Chinese festival which falls in the seventh lunar month, which is this month. This is a moc from a Taiwan fan, Tigerggyy.

Here are the classic Chinese vampire ... to stop it from jumping around causing harm, a slip of blessed paper by a master taoist priest is placed at their head.

Lego Mini Figures Series 2

Lego Mini Figures Series 2

The lego mini figures Series 2 is currently avaliable in US and part of Europe. For Singapore, it will be avaliable in September. Will update more pictures once my order arrived.

This series consist of the Mexican, Weightlifter, Pop Star, Skier, DJ, Judoka, Surfer, Pharoh, Spartan, Ringmaster, Witch, Vampire, Traffic Cop, Jungle Explorer, Lifeguard and Mime Artist.

From the response of most collectors, they are interested in getting the Spartan... as usual it is about building a little army of Spartan.

A LEGO Ambassador, confirms that (a) that series 2 will have identifying barcodes, (b) there will be a series 3 and (c) demand for series 1 has caught LEGO by surprise.

However it seems that series 3 and later will not have an identifying barcode on the packets! Is this good or bad? Personally I think it's terrible: you'll either be forced to buy loads to get what you want or simply pay a premium for specific figs on the secondary market.

For Series 3 it will probably be avaliable in Aug 2011 as posted on the lego sites.
